“My husband and I and our two children (7 and 11) had a really wonderful, relaxing weekend in this stunningly decorated cottage. We know North Norfolk well but had never stayed in Hindringham before. It’s a brilliantly well located village, in reach of all the best places to visit on the north coast of Norfolk. The cottage itself is incredibly comfortable, very stylish but with a lovely cozy feel too. We felt that everything had been thought of to make our stay special (particularly enjoyed the Grind coffee capsules for my first coffee of the day!). The garden is also perfect - the little bench and table gets the sun until late in the afternoon and we enjoyed many a relaxing afternoon tea sitting out there. Highly recommend Stiffkey Stores for coffee, croissants and cakes. Hope to be back!”

“We had the most wonderful time in Crown cottage - Coming from hot and busy London, its a heaven of peace and beauty - You start relaxing the moment you get in there, the garden smells of flowers, you hear birds, and in the mornings you find bunny rabbits in your garden! The inside of the cottage is also completely wonderful, sparkling clean and with heaps of character, very practical as well - The area has got loads to offer and its so relaxing to come home to Hindringham after a busy day exploring - If you want to spend time in the hamlet you also can do with small children : there are sweet donkeys you can take carrots to, there is Hindringham Hall and alfresco tea in china, there are loads of blackberries although do pay attention not to squish it on the carpets (so sorry Lois !!!)”

“After a tough end to 2021, myself and a dear friend decided we needed a January TLC trip to the Norfolk coast, and we discovered Crown Cottage via a friend promoting availability on Instagram. We cannot express how idyllic this beautiful cottage is, the attention to detail is effortless, interiors are divine, it's so spacious, and being a fellow lover of all things floral Lois' floral centerpieces and seasonal decorations were sooo loved. Such a great location for coastal walks, village wanders, endless options for pub lunches and we enjoyed local produce in the evening, all snuggled up, with vino by the fire. I wish we could have stayed longer and we're planning on visiting again in the Summer perhaps also with our Mums! Thank you Lois, we feel very lucky to have found Crown Cottage!”

Such a welcoming place to be, it always felt like a real treat coming back after a day exploring Norfolk. The views from the cottage are lovely & the garden is a thing of beauty! Thank you for the fresh flowers when we arrived - a lovely touch. The kids loved playing with all the toys - the bunk bed was a major highlight - & I loved trying all the Norfolk based washing products. Inside the cottage is like being in a magazine - beautifully furnished to a very high quality but with the practicality of a good washing machine & dishwasher. Lots to do in the area. “We were fortunate to book Crown Cottage the first week of the summer holidays (replacing foreign adventures which had to be postponed). The house and gardens are immaculately presented and rather than feeling like a holiday let it feels like home. The kids room had plenty of toys and books for the kids to enjoy and the mud kitchen in the garden was very popular. Boring to say but having a washing machine on offer was a big plus for us as a family of 6!. What really set them apart as a holiday option though is the effort taken to recommend things to do for family or solo adventures. Although we’ve visited Norfolk yearly for as long as I can remember we discovered Stiffkey Saltmarshes and the amazing Sandringham play area this time. We can't wait to return next year!”

“It’s been nearly a month since we stayed at Crown Cottage and I am still raving about it to anybody and everybody who will listen. The house itself is dreamy, every detail has been thought of and we can honestly say the photos don’t do it justice. We stayed as a group of 6: my family including our 5 week old and 3 year old and in-laws and it suited us perfectly. My son was particularly excited by his own bedroom with a big boy camper-van bed. The location also brilliant, we managed to squeeze so much into a short weekend and the owners were incredible at giving recommendations and putting up with all my questions. I could go on but instead I’ll just urge anyone reading to book - the stay gave us the final push needed to make the move to Norfolk!”

“The pictures on the website are incredible but I can honestly say, did not do it justice when it came to seeing the real beauty of the place in person. The space is far larger than I expected and such a calming, relaxing place for a family to stay - highlighted by the utterly wonderful interior design, so much style and colour and so many gorgeous extra touches. We loved all the children's toys that were provided including the outdoor kitchen which our little boy was obsessed with! The garden was also seriously inspiring, the work of someone who really has put a lot of thought and effort into creating something beautiful to be enjoyed - and we enjoyed it very much. In fact so much we've booked it twice for next year.”

“From the moment we stepped through the door a warmness greeted us. We felt at home, relaxed and cosy. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The weather wasn’t always the best but we found some lovely walks and managed 2 picnics in the sanddunes. After each adventure we knew we had your beautiful cottage to go back to. We were so pleased we were able to extend our stay and our friends really enjoyed Norfolk and Crown Cottage too.

We can’t wait to return, maybe in the Spring when your beautiful garden is coming to life. We visited Socius for lunch on Saturday and it was a fantastic place to eat with friends, also the homemade pies at the Three Horseshoes in Warham were delicious. Thank you once again.”

“We had a wonderful stay in your beautiful cottage. Everything about it was super, we loved the rainy day we had chilling and wished we could have stayed longer.

We always eat at the Dun Cow and as usual it was great. And of course our fave cofffee at Stiffkey Stores - I love it when they know your name - we’re pretty regular!
